Kona Fryer Filters
Frymate's VF35 Series 2 filter tray is cut to fit the Kona NJGF35, so it sits flat on the bottom of the fry pot instead of sliding around. It rests under your baskets and catches the crumbs and breading that would otherwise sink, burn and darken the oil. The VF35 Series 2 tray also fits certain Frymaster, Globe, Gusto, Pitco and Standard Range models; the product page lists them all.
Which Frymate filter fits your Kona:
Start with the model number. On most Kona fryers it's printed on the data plate inside the door or close to the controls. Find that number in the list above and you have your filter. Match the exact number, not just the series, because similar models can use different tanks. Don't see your model? Every Frymate filter is 304 stainless steel, and the 550-micron mesh is fine enough to catch breading dust. With less carbon in the tank, oil can last up to 40% longer and food keeps its golden color. At the end of a shift, lift the tray out, tap it over the bin and drop it back in.
